We do not really have a Quality Assurance department. We have one guy who is in
charge of testing our software (sometimes he gets help from one or two other
people, as avaailable). He tests to his written test plan, not the manual I
write. However, during the last release process, we had hired a group from the
local university to do some work for us, and we had some money left over in the
contract, so they tested my manuals, and the process was quite useful. However,
by the time we released, we really needed another run through, but didn't get
it.
