You can also switch to the <pre></pre> container, which displays text
as literally typed, spaces and all. Alas, like most HTML tags,
<pre> does more than one thing - in this case, <pre> also changes
to the default constant width font.

Or you could insert text into a table then control the distance
between columns.

The &nbsp is probably the best bet....
