My Visual Basic reference calls them submenus.
(Visual Basic, BTW, is Microsoft's own product and is used to develop
Windows applications. However, my reference (which is a classroom
reference, not a store-bought book) was not written by Microsoft. So
consider this a disclaimer. 8-)
