It's the paragraph mark at the end of the paragraph. Similar for
section formatting, e.g., headers and footers, page numbering. Then
document formatting is kept in the *last* paragraph mark at the end.
Or so I seem to have learned from the WORD-PC discussion list --
excellent collection of Word experts. I'm primarily a WP user, so I
may not have the above paragraph straight.
