Thanks to all who replied to my original post!

Since I'll be contracting, I decided to come up with a "company" name. I
expect my focus to be marketing materials and/or proposals. Tell me what
you think....

Technical Communication Specialist



I *think* I'm going to stick with "specialist" because it indicates a
specific subset of writing and design. However, I'm still considering
"technical communicator" or "technical documentation."
