Hi All,

I need some advice on page numbering for a multi-chapter document with
several appendices, a combined acronym list/glossary,and an index (in
that order).

Right now:
All chapter pages are numbered by chapter number and consecutive page
(2-1, 2-1, 2-3, etc.).
Four appendices immediately follow the chapters and are numbered
similarly (A-1, A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, ...)
This is followed by the combined acronym list/glossary (with no page
numbers yet).
Finally, the index brings up the rear with I-1, I-2, I-3.....

So how do I designated the acronym/glossary pages?
Should I make it another appendix? (the SME doesn't really like this
idea)
Can I use X-1, X-2, etc.?
Is there a standard?

Thanks,
