Subject:Re: Has anyone ever hear of an .shg file? From:David Demyan <dbdemyan -at- WORLDNET -dot- ATT -dot- NET> Date:Fri, 11 Jul 1997 11:28:52 -0400
Jeff Hooker asked about editing .SHG files.
Others have responded that these are clickable maps that
go into help files. To manipulate or edit them and place
them into another program you need either:
a) the source .BMP or other graphic that the .SHG was
based upon.
b) a help "decompiler" to pull the help file apart and
re-create the source file and graphics. (Freeware
help decompiler are available on the 'net.)
c) just do screen captures of the embedded graphics
in the help file and paste them into your graphics
editor.
