Do it. It's shorter, more user-friendly, non-sexist, and much more. The
Microsoft Style Guide says to use it, and they do - check your Word manual.

Also, it's been the accepted way to write procedures for a long time. For
what is the command "Turn the power on" but second person imperative (you
understood)? You turn the power on it.

Just do it.
