First, to everyone who sent me e-mail - thanks for your support!
EVERYONE who responded thought I was right to question the offer of
$24K. One man even said "Run Run!"
When I came home this evening there was a message on my answering
machine from "Company Tightwad" (formerly Company A) wanting me back for
a THIRD INTERVIEW either tomorrow or Friday. I have my interview with
"Company B" tomorrow so that's out. I am tempted to go on this third
interview with "Company Tightwad" to see if my comment about "my
research shows that $30K would be a fair starting salary" woke them up!
Yet another part of me thinks it would be a waste of time ...
Hmmm ... if anyone wants a compilation of the excellent email advice
I've received, just let me know and I'll send you a compilation when I
have time.
Regards,
Cheryle
