I'll be teaching a one day class on Windows Help in Seattle. If you want to
learn how to perform some of the more advanced functions in Windows 3.1 and
Windows 95, this class is for you!

Implementing secondary windows so that your topics open from the index in the
appropriate window
Adding context sensitivity to help
Working with bullets and other special characters
Understanding macros (taught by Pete Mentele from Attachmate)
Alignment problems with lists, bullets, and in tables
Adding glossaries to help (using templates)
Working with multiple project files
Q&A

Lin Laurie is the former Associate Editor of the WinHelp Journal and the owner
of WinPro Online Press. She has presented at The WinHelp Seminars produced by
WinWriters. She is also a former Microsoft editor and help author. She is a
published author, writing a chapter in Joe Welinske's book, "Developing Online
Help for Windows 95", and also wrote a chapter on Active X in "HTML in
Action", published by Microsoft Press.
