One of the better implementations of an intranet is the
constantly-evolving GENie, the intranet at Genentech in South San
Francisco. Unless you have permission, you can't access it from the
outside, but you can get a medium-good overview by checking out its
description in the Intranet Solutions (or similar name) section on the
Netscape web pages. Actually, there are a bunch of intranet solutions
described there - and on the equivalent Microsoft pages.
