Subject:Databases of documentation From:Kris Olberg <kjolberg -at- IX -dot- NETCOM -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 18 Sep 1997 21:13:10 -0500
Sorry for posting but the TECHWR-L "search archives" function is busted and
I need some help right away.
Is anybody creating documentation from databases? I have an application for
this sort of thing and need to know what tools are available or being used.
Briefly, here's the application: We want to create several views of
information depending on a reader's needs. The information is reference
material, highly modular, and its presentation can follow a repetitive
pattern. This seems a logical fit with a database that we can query to
create the particular view.
