Gee, I think I'd try going to your local library and looking up older
computer and electronics books and dictionaries. They tend to have lots of
pictures, diagrams, etc., and many of them are quite (I almost said
amusingly, but choked down the snotty impulse just in time) antiquated.
If the library doesn't have old books, try using Reader's Digest or another
basic periodical index from 10 or 20 years ago and checking under the
obvious headings: hardware, software, Apple, etc., for illustrated
articles.
There are probably copyright issues there, though. . . I wouldn't know
about that, except that it's something to be thinking of.
