For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I'm interested in free lancing in tech.writing and would like to know how
to get started. If any of you can point me towards some good sources that
describe the process, I would be most grateful. Tips from the pros are
welcome as well.
I tried searching the techwr's archives on this subject, but I received an
error message which said that the server is down.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
