Some software programs such as Photoshop and SnagIt add scaling
information to BMPs that they generate. When loading these particular
BMPs into some programs, the scaling information is misinterpreted and
the BMPs are is displayed at the wrong size. For example, Photoshop
BMPs appear too large when displayed in ForeHelp.

There are two solutions:

1) Use a DOS utility called NOSCALE.EXE to remove the
scaling information from the BMPs. It's free and as simple to
use as "noscale image.bmp", or "noscale *.bmp" for a batch
of BMPs. You can obtain NOSCALE from ForeFront Incorporated.

2) Load and resave the problem BMP in a graphics program
that does not save scaling information. To convert multiple BMPs in a
single pass, it's best to use a program that does batch conversions,
such as JASC's Paint Shop Pro 4.

Thanks go to Steve Riley for most of these details.
