Alex,
Yes it's possible to have the autonumbers in a different font, weight,
etc. as the rest of the text. Use the Character designer to create a
charcter called, say, "Number"; format it the way you want the autonumbers
to be.
Then go into your Paragraph designer, to your format for the
autonumber-paragraph. Format it the way you want the text to be, tabs,
etc.. Then on the right of the window, find the box that says "Character
Format"; in that window you should see listed "Default font" etc., and
"Numbers". Select that, then click Apply to check if it works or not. Mine
does!
