Programmer Editor
Only experienced, seasoned Programmer Editors need apply. This job is no joke. Your passion for technology, attention to detail, and ability to read and write C++, Visual Basic, SQL, and Java will get you hired...or at least, considered. An extremely seasoned and technologically savvy editor is ideal. Your high level skills will be used to edit extremely technical online documentation. You will be responsible for overseeing the work of others on the documentation staff, testing codes samples, and making sure that every aspect of the editing for this project is covered. A minimum of 5 years technical editing experience is required in a web, print, or online capacity. Previous work at a software company is preferred. Strong ability to prioritize and organize is also required, as well as your tremendous ability to multi-task. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is desired. Work experience can also substitute for education. So, if you are bright, not afraid to ask "good" questions, and have a sense of fearlessness, this job is for you.
BackOffice Server Programming Writer
Do your programming skills set you apart from others? Or, do you think they do? Well, if your work product can back up your "high" opinion of yourself...good, we need to talk. Oh, one other thing...We need someone that is not only at the top of their game in programming, but I also need someone who can clearly articulate themselves when writing online help documentation. This Programmer Writing position is ideal for someone with recent programming experience, yet who wants to go on to conquer new, exciting challenges. This position requires one to write, research, and develop components of a software development kit. You will not only help write user interface text for help documentation to IT professionals, you will be actively scripting controls to launch product objects, and using your keen troubleshooting ability. You will work closely with other sharp, bright developers and documentation people that will keep you on your toes. Therefore, you'll need to bring 4 years of writing and relevant work experience to the table before even considering applying for this position. The ability to read and write _javascript_ and Visual Basic are a must. The right individual will also have an understanding of MS BackOffice Server and Small Business Server products as well as Windows 2000 and related server applications knowledge. Preference for someone that also has experience using HTML help and Frontpage. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is desired. Work experience can also substitute for education. Again, this position is ideal for someone with recent experience programming.
