Hi,
I've got screen captures in MS Word that look pretty bad when the Word
document is converted to .pdf. Using Acrobat Exchange 3.01 to create the pdf
file (from Word, PRINT > Acrobat PDFWriter).
Tried in vain to help the situation by deselecting Downsample images, and
turned compression options off. Also tried converting bitmaps to jpeg, gif,
and tif using Photodraw thinking reduced file size might help.
This is the procedure i used to put screen captures in the Word document:
create screed captures by pressing Alt+PrintScreen to copy the window/dialog
on the clipboard, pressing Ctrl - V to paste it in Paint, select the image
using the Select tool, select EDIT > COPY TO, and save the file as a bitmap.
Then in Word, INSERT PICTURE > FROM FILE and select the bmp file.
Does anyone know how to convert the Word doc to pdf without sacrificing the
screen capture image quality? Would appreciate help, since this needs to get
done by eob today.
