It is not very intuitive, if you're used to Word or Word Perfect, and lacksSo far as I can see, the only features that MS Word has that OpenOffice lacks are a grammar checker, and the ability to record and use macros.
some features I've grown used to.
Other features are sometimes given different names, placed in different menus, or hidden in sub-menus, but the chances are that what you're missing is there.
