"Paul Hanson" <PHanson -at- Quintrex -dot- com> wants to print 26 Word 97 files merged
into a single Word 97 file using RD fields with a TOC and an Index in a
single Adobe PDF file.

Paul:
What you want to do is to print the complete document as a single file. One
way to do this is to define a postscript printer on your system. If you
don't have a real one, download a driver for an eps (encapsulated post
script) printer, and print the document to file from Word 97, just as if you
were printing it to your local hp or other generic printer. Then distill the
.PS or .EPS print file in Adobe Acrobat. I've done this with Word files and
graphics file when the print shop had software that was incompatible with
mine, but could handle a postscript file. HTH.
