Well, it happened this morning. I was expecting it, so that made it easy.
Even better, I walked in to the meeting with my desk packed, my resignation
letter in hand, and a smile on my face.

After the meeting, my boss (not the CEO that demanded termination) mentioned
that he had never seen such a classy termination interview and thanked me
for my time. I smiled the whole time, and oddly enough was at complete peace
with myself and my future. I've had a few interviews, but I've only just
started hunting. I don't expect the interview to pick up until later.

Anyway, if anyone is in Utah and knows of a position, please feel free to
drop me a line. And if any of you are in Utah and looking for a position,
uh... contact me off-list. I've got a few warnings for you.
