Sounds like there are a couple of different ways to slice it.

>From the way you describe it, it sounds like the labs should be included
with the lecture material they reinforce. If the first lab applies to all
of the first three sections, though, it might make sense to have it stand
alone.

I might make Lab 1 into Section 4. That way you end up with Sections 1-7,
with Section 4 being a lab and Sections 5-7 including both a lecture and a
lab. That solves the Lab titling as well.
