I want to thank all you guys who offered to send me a copy
of my company's mention in the NY Times Magazine yesterday. As
it turned out, I was in a larger city, and I picked up the Times
at a bookstore ($4.50! No wonder the cost of living for NY is
so high!)

For those who are interested, the article is "Manual Labor," by
James Gleick, p. 18, April 7, 1996, _New York Times Magazine_. It
is Gleick's regular "Fast Forward" column. An encounter with
instructions for electronics leads him to discuss the profession
of technical communication.

For you sharp-eyed editors: Yes, Gleick incorrectly capitalizes
COREComm. Don't they say, "All publicity is good publicity"?

Regards,
LaVonna
