Yeah, I got sidetracked -- it was fun -- but the OP's request was:
I am trying to make a simple cross-
reference, as follows: "See Appendix
A on page 57 for more information."
My suggestion at the time was: Number all headers (including the
Appendix) with AutoNum Legal. Then, create a bookmark that includes
"Appendix A," without the colon.
