Hi Bear,
1. Format => Bullets and Numbering.
2. Click the Outline Numbered tab.
3. Click Customize.
4. Type a number format in the Number Format field
5. Click More.
6. In the Link Level To Style field, pick an existing style or type in a
new style name.
7. In the ListNum Field List name field, type a name for your new number
format.
8. Click OK.
9. In a new paragraph or even a new document, Insert => Field. You do
*not* have to use the style specified in step 6.
10. In the Field Name panel, click ListNum. The new name from step 7 is
one of the options.
