The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I've been sitting on my behind and staring at a computer screen for 8 hours per day 5 days per week for the last 25 years, and my body not surprisingly is the worse for it.

Are there any other would-be athletes among us? What do you do? How do you make the time?
