Subject:Why would an editor use Internet? From:Micheal Uhl <MU17692 -at- USAV01 -dot- GLAXO -dot- COM> Date:Wed, 5 Oct 1994 08:42:00 EDT
My esteemed colleagues,
In response to mb_mann -at- pnl -dot- gov:
I think most TECHWR-L subscribers would agree that among the daily
deluge (I *like* consonance) of e-mails, we all find an occasional
jewel. That jewel might be humor, a technical tip, a job lead, or
advice on how to design a portfolio, document, or presentation.
I find TECHWR-L and WINHELP-L so useful that I have subscribed
America Online to gain access to them after I leave my current job.
As an aside, I don't care if people bitch and bellyache on TECHWR-L.
Sometimes, the content of that bitching and bellyaching can be quite
revealing about working conditions in some industries or companies.
And I always have the option of deleting e-mails without reading them.
Keep it coming please.
