Asked a Lady what she wanted from me,
she said Baby, can't you see,
We're gonna be famous,
The Gods of the Net
But you can do something we ain't done yet

Baby you can write my book,
My Engineer will take a look,
Baby if you write my book, then maybe I'll pay you...

*<click-click, click-click, Ding!>*

I told the lady I could start "write" away, she said
listen baby I got somethin' to say

Our new product still crashes Windows in spots,
but I got a writer, and that's a start!

Baby you can write my book,
My Engineer will take a look,
Baby if you write my book, then maybe I'll pay you...

*<click-click, click-click, Ding!>*

I wrote the manu'l just as fast as I could,
and she said listen baby, it's understood
I looked it over and the screenshots are fine,
but the product won't sell and I can't pay a dime...

Baby you can write my book,
My Engineer will take a look,
Baby if you write my book, then maybe I'll pay you...

*<click-click, click-click, Ding!>*

To pay the bills, then, I did Tech Support,
like other Bobs, I just hated the work
I answered phones till they repoed my car
my wife said don't touch me till you control your nerves...

Baby you can write my book,
My Engineer will take a look,
Baby if you write my book, then maybe I'll pay you...

*<Ding!-Ding!, Ding!-Ding!, Wahh!>*
*<Ding!-Ding!, Ding!-Ding!, Wahh!>*
*<Ding!-Ding!, Ding!-Ding!, Wahh!>*
